Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Sanvedana Child Foundation, a not-for-profit company registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 (“Sanvedana Sweets”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit https://www.sanvedanasweets.com or buy from us. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000, its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Order details — your name, mobile number, email address, delivery address, city, state and pincode, the products you order and any gift note.
Enquiry details — your name, phone, email and message when you use the contact or enquiry form.
Payment status — the payment reference and whether it succeeded. Card numbers, UPI PINs, CVVs and bank passwords are entered on Razorpay’s secure checkout and never reach or stay on our servers.
Technical data — your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, kept in server logs for security and to stop spam.

How we use it

To make, pack and deliver your order, and to send order confirmation, dispatch and delivery updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
To reply to your enquiries and handle complaints, cancellations and refunds.
To prevent fraud and spam, and to keep the website secure.
To keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages without your consent.

Only with the people who need it to complete your order:

Razorpay Software Private Limited — to process your payment.
Courier and logistics partners — your name, phone number and address, so they can deliver the box.
Our email and hosting providers — who store and send data on our behalf under confidentiality.
Government or law-enforcement authorities — only when the law requires it.

Cookies and your browser

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep the website working and secure (for example, to protect our forms). Your box (cart) is saved in your own browser, not on our server, so it is still there if you come back. We do not use advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the checkout from Razorpay, which may receive your IP address as part of loading those files.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 8 years). Enquiries that did not become orders are deleted when they are no longer needed.

How we protect it

The website runs on HTTPS, our admin panel is password-protected with limited access for staff, and payment data is handled by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. You can also withdraw consent for any optional use. Write to our grievance officer below and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Children

This website is not meant for children to use on their own. Orders should be placed by adults.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date shown at the top.
